Course Support

I can assist with mapping library resources to your syllabus:

  • Identifying existing library resources that could enhance your course content
  • Finding relevant ebooks or other resources available for purchase
  • Ensuring that all citations and links to library resources in your syllabus are updated

Staying Current

Library Instruction

I offer instructional sessions and workshops for you, your colleagues, and your students. Potential topics include:

  • Overview of library resources
  • PubMed basics
  • MeSH terms in PubMed
  • Managing citations
  • Scopus tools
  • Google Scholar
  • Research impact metrics

Research Impact Metrics and Author Profiles

I support faculty research at every step, whether it's crafting search strategies for a literature review, searching for high-impact journals for submission, or identifying your impact in the field.

Research Data Management

We have two Research Data Management librarians at UConn Library. They can assist with data management plans, identifying data repositories, NIH funding requirements, etc.

Systematic Reviews

At this time, I offer limited support for systematic reviews that extends to search strategy consultation and training on locating full-texts of identified publications.
