Topic: Researching Your Family History — Finding Living Relatives

A guide to support UNIV 1820 and general genealogy/family history research

Finding Living Relatives

Genealogy today follows many paths. We use records in databases and in libraries to find information about our relatives from the past. You can also learn about your family from your extended family members. Use some of the sites below to reconnect.

Search Engines

Searching the internet for information about your family may lead you to websites about your surnames, your ancestor's farming community, the family cemeteries, and more. Google is not the only tool to search the internet. Try your search terms in another search engine and discover new sites.
