What is Reproductive Justice?

Here are a few definitions:

"SisterSong defines Reproductive Justice as the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities." - SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective

"Reproductive Justice is the complete physical, mental, spiritual, political, social, and economic well-being of women and girls, based on the full
achievement and protection of women’s human rights." - Asian Communities for Reproductive Justice in Reproductive Justice Briefing Book: A Primer on Reproductive Justice and Social Change (updated from 2007 version)

Reproductive justice is also framed as a response from women of color organizations to the "individualist approach of the “choice” paradigm used by the mainstream reproductive rights movement in the U.S." - Kimala Price What is Reproductive Justice?: How Women of Color Activists Are Redefining the Pro-Choice Paradigm
