PitchBook university-wide access to financial data

Our library now has a university-wide subscription to PitchBook ðŸŽ‰

PitchBook is a data and research platform focused on private capital markets, providing detailed information on venture capital, private equity, and M&A transactions. It offers many certifications via their PitchBook Pioneer courses.

Access to PitchBook: guides.lib.uconn.edu/pbook - sign in with SSO using your UConn email address. 

Note that: 

  • Access does not include PitchBook mobile app, or PitchBook via WRDS, or Morningstar Institutional Equity Research.
  • Accounts under the university subscription is limited to export a maximum of 10 rows per day / 25 rows per month of deal, fund, people, or entity data.
  • PitchBook Faculty Add-on: UConn faculty and doctoral students can purchase additional data download capabilities of 10,000 rows of deal, fund, people or entity data per month. It costs $2,500 per seat per year. Please contact me for more information if you are interested.

MnM KnowledgeStore - a new B2B market research resource 

UConn will lose access to BCC Research after June 30, 2025.

Our subscription to MarketsandMarkets Knowledgestore (MnMKS) will replace market research needs in the business-to-business (B2B) space.

Access to MnMKS: guides.lib.uconn.edu/mnm.

MnMKS focuses on B2B market research, producing industry and megatrends reports.

  • Covered industries include aerospace, agriculture, automotive, banking, chemicals, energy, food, healthcare, ICT, packaging, retail, and semiconductor.
  • Megatrends covered include 3D printing, artificial intelligence, big data & analytics, blockchain, connectivity, digitalization, Internet of Things, nano technologies, robotics, smart infrastructure, smart manufacturing, sustainability, and wearables.

UConn will lose access after June 30, 2025.

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), who owns Mergent, will be discontinuing Mergent Online as part of their consolidation. Access to investment research on Mergent Investext will also be discontinued.
