Requesting Library Electronic Resources — Home

Library Collections Purchasing

The Library has adjusted ordering procedures and collection development priorities post-COVID. Some strategies initiated to accommodate a remote environment have been adopted as regular practice. The Library now has a robust streaming media and ebook program, and this guide will assist faculty in navigating the unique implications of acquiring electronic resources. You may submit a request to purchase materials for the permanent collection (print and electronic), or to support your curriculum at anytime. The Library's subject specialists are available for consultation.

Assigned Materials

The Library recommends that course-assigned ebooks and streaming videos be licensed in lieu of using physical Course Reserves if practical and when possible - some monographs (such as textbooks) and videos are unavailable to the Library electronically. If you require a physical item be added to Course Reserves, please contact the Reserves Staff.  Before requesting materials please check the  Library Catalog to confirm that the materials are not already available. Submit requests for purchase to prior to the beginning of each semester.
