The Library website is your gateway to services and resources to make you successful in your academic pursuits. Let's explore the homepage to discover ways to help with your research.

The Navigation Menu at the top of the page provide deeper access to services, resources, locations, and information about the Library.
While on the Library website, hover over these to explore what the library offers to assist in your research endeavors.

Ask a Librarian is available throughout the site. Staffed by UConn Librarians, we can help with forming search strategies, finding materials, or any other library or research related question!

The Search Tabs provide quick access to several options for finding materials in the Library:

  • our Discovery tool to find Articles, Books, Media, Scores,
  • WorldCat to search for books and media the Library does not own,
  • Course Reserves to find items placed on reserve by instructors, and
  • a Site Search

These blue buttons provide quick access to frequently used library tools and services.

  • Research Databases are organized by subject.  “General Databases” includes interdisciplinary databases that cover all topics; this is a great place to start if you are just beginning to explore your topic or are unsure of which subject to choose.
  • Research Guides are written by Subject Specialists and other expert library staff. These guides provide instructional guidance and information relevant to subjects, courses, and general library or research topics.  These guides are a great place to start when finding information on your subject.
  • Interlibrary Services helps you obtain materials (including books and articles) the UConn Library does not own.
  • Student Study Spaces are available for current UConn students.
