Accessibility Features for EBSCO eBooks
EBSCO eBooks have accessibility features including font size adjustment, letter and word spacing adjustments, and text to speech capability. These features are available within the database's eBook viewer.
Text-To-Speech
Within the eBook viewer, locate the speaker icon at the top right of the window above the Table of Contents.
Once the icon is selected, a "Listen" box with audio controls will appear at the top left of the window. Use those controls for audio playback.
Text Modification
To access the features EBSCO provides to modify text size and spacing, select the Display & Text size option at the top right of the window. The menus that appears will allow users to adjust font size, character spacing, word spacing, and line spacing.
