Endangered languages — Encyclopedias and biographical resources

The three national biographical databases include only deceased subjects. The Biography Reference Bank and the Gale Literary Resource Center profile living and dead subjects. The spelling of names can vary, so be certain to try alternative spellings if a search is initially unsuccessful.

  Includes illustrated biographies of the men and women who shaped all aspects of Britain's past, from the fourth century BC to the year 2016.
