POLS 2622: State and Local Government — Search for books and articles

Resources for researching development of public policy via a state's proposed and existing legislation, committee/commission work, news coverage, public polling, and court decision involving specific areas of policy.

UConn Library Search (locate books and articles)

Use the UConn Library Ex Libris Discovery search ("Articles & Library Search box on library website) to find books, ebooks, videos, and other materials owned by UConn Library. This also searches several multidisciplinary journal databases and is a great starting point for researching many topics.

  • Use the filters to the left of the search results to limit results by date, type (books vs. articles), etc.
  • Sign in with your NetID (see Sign In link in upper right corner) to enable requesting books be retrieved for you for pickup at the UConn library closest to you!
  • This tool retrieves only articles which the library has licensed full-text access.
  • Use the WorldCat search on the Library website to search books not held by UConn, and to initiate free Interlibrary Services loan requests.

Journal Research Databases
