The Dryad Digital Repository is a curated resource that makes research data discoverable, freely reusable, and citable. Dryad provides a general-purpose home for a wide diversity of data types.
Dryad originated from an initiative among a group of leading journals and scientific societies to adopt a joint data archiving policy (JDAP) for their publications, and the recognition that open, easy-to-use, not-for-profit, community-governed data infrastructure was needed to support such a policy. figshare is a repository where users can make all of their research outputs available in a citable, shareable and discoverable manner. It is owned by Digital Science and based out of the UK.

Research data repository managed by Harvard University. The Harvard Dataverse Repository is a free data repository open to all researchers from any discipline, both inside and outside of the Harvard community, where you can share, archive, cite, access, and explore research data. Each individual Dataverse collection is a customizable collection of datasets (or a virtual repository) for organizing, managing, and showcasing datasets.
You can open your data to the general public, or restrict access and define customizable terms of use. When you publish your data, you automatically get a standard data citation with a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), and your metadata is open and findable via search engines, even when the data are restricted.

IEEE DataPort™ is a valuable and easily accessible data platform that enables users to store, search, access and manage data. The data platform is designed to accept all formats and sizes of datasets (up to 2TB), and it provides both downloading capabilities and access to datasets in the Cloud. IEEE is the Institute for Electronics and Electrical Engineers.

Based at the University of Michigan. UConn Library is a member of the ICPSR repository. This is a top choice repository for social science data.

Elsevier's Mendeley Data repository is a participating member of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Data Science Strategy (ODSS) GREI project. The GREI includes seven established generalist repositories funded by the NIH to work together to establish consistent metadata, develop use cases for data sharing, train and educate researchers on FAIR data and the importance of data sharing, and more.

Many NIH funded projects have subject based repositories of data, hosted by the National Libraries of Medicine.

You may also use this to collaborate with colleagues at other institutions. Data may be uploaded and accessed in either private or public mode.

Vivli is an independent, non-profit organization that has developed a global data-sharing and analytics platform. Their focus is on sharing individual participant-level data from completed clinical trials to serve the international research community.

Zenodo is a general-purpose open-access repository developed under the European OpenAIRE program and operated by CERN. It allows researchers to deposit research papers, data sets, research software, reports, and any other research related digital artifacts. Free and highly used in European scientific communities.
