UConn ITS Storage Information

UConn ITS offers a variety of storage solutions. Some options are listed below or contact ITS directly for more information and to discuss your needs. You can also speak with the IT staff for your department or school to see what options they offer.

Personal Storage

Google Drive
Virtual storage up to 30GBs.
Microsoft OneDrive
Unlimited virtual storage

Departmental Storage

Departmental (Q:) Drive
Faculty, staff, and student employees may be granted access to a shared directory to store files accessible to the group. The files on the Q: drive persist, even if one person with access leaves the University.
Enterprise File Services
Enterprise File Services has two separate and distinct parts: individual home directories and departmental file storage. The service is maintained by ITS and is online 24x7.
