History Subject Guide — Biographical Databases at UConn

This guide lists the UConn resources available for researching history

Biographies

These databases provide signed biographical accounts of people and descriptions of such legendary and mythological figures as Cú Chulainn, King Arthur, and Robin Hood. The three national biographical databases include only deceased subjects. The Gale Literary Resource Center profiles living and dead subjects. The spelling of names can vary, so be certain to try alternative spellings if a search is initially unsuccessful.
