Welcome to the Grant Support for Librarians LibGuide!
In this guide you will find resources on funding, how to write grants, links on the services and support available to UConn staff for the grant process, and our book collection on grant funding and writing related to the work of librarians.
While this guide is intended to provide information and resources to the UConn Library staff, the materials found here are available and may be relevant to other members of the campus community as well.

This guide is the output of the Grants Working Group, a project under the UConn Library's Strategic Framework Implementation. The goals of the Grants Working Group were to research and share information on the grant writing and funding processes for librarians, and to provide information about grant-related resources at UConn. The book collection contains items previously owned by the library, as well as materials purchased through the generous support of the Strategic Framework Implementation Team.
This initiative is guided by the UConn Library Strategic Framework. The Strategic Framework charts the UConn Library’s direction and builds on our strengths as a hub of scholarship, research, and learning for UConn students, faculty, and staff. We connect our community to information resources; to the spaces needed for thinking, studying, learning, and collaborating; and to the essential expertise of Library staff.
To fully realize the potential of the Strategic Framework, the Library encourages all staff members to propose individual projects, group projects, or events/programs that further the Framework. Learn more at: lib.uconn.edu/about/strategic-framework
