CC License Types

types of cc licenses chart

There are six licenses available which combine the four conditions.

The CC BY license is the most open, meaning that users can do whatever they wish with the work but they must cite the creator in whatever way the creator requires.

The least open is the CC BY NC ND license, which allows users to copy, distribute, display or perform only verbatim copies of the original work and the work cannot be used for commercial purposes. In addition, the original creator must be cited in whatever way the creator requires.
