Nutritional Science Subject Guide — Finding Articles

Articles can be accessed through the databases listed on the Getting Started page

Finding and retrieving articles

Select your database. PubMed is your best starting point.  If you are off campus, you may be asked to login with your NetID and password.

A few tips for searching for articles:

  • Use search terms which are not too broad or too narrow.
  • In most databases, you can use the term AND to narrow a search and use the term OR to include related terms, broadening the search.  For example:

Mediterranean diet AND heart attack

Macrobiotic diet OR vegan diet
